Hey, my name is Jaklyn!

I'm a lifestyle photographer based in Northern Michigan, specializing in creative portraits and Jeep/Adventure photography. I've had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember. I started with film cameras and polaroids before making the switch to digital (my first digital camera even used floppy disks- its been a minute!)

I've always been drawn to art, writing and creating - especially work that tells a story or leaves a lasting impact. Photography quickly became my favorite creative outlet and has grown into a true passion.

Photography allows me to help people see the beauty in everyday moments, preserve memories that will last a lifetime, and empower others to see themselves in a new light.

When I began my college career, I had the opportunity to study Adobe Photoshop, digital photography, art history, color fundamentals, design, drawing and more through Kendall. Combined with years of experience behind the camera as a hobbyist, that education has helped shape the creative process I use today.

I'm based in Cadillac, Michigan, but love traveling throughout our beautiful state to document love stories, family milestones, outdoor adventures, new additions, cool rides, and whatever quest the wind blows my way.

My photography style is authentic, candid and true to life, with vibrant pops of color that bring each image to life. Natural light is my favorite canvas, and I strive to create images that feel genuine, timeless and capture all the emotion.
